A teen was injured while mixing dangerous materials.

Who- A 17-year-old, named Vincent Pizzonia.
What- Was hurt in his basement mixing dangerous materials, which ended up to be a pipe bomb. He was making a pipe bomb in his basement of his house, and all of a sudden it exploded in his hands, he was saveloy injured.
When- Just before 7:30 p.m. Monday, 28 of September 2009.
Where- This event happened in his basement in his own house on Pell Avenue.
Why/How- They did not say why he had done this, but people are blogging on this story. "Don't be so quick to judge. It could have been a science project forschool." Another person had blogger about doing this just to get out of school.

  1. wow, i cant believe that happened. lately lots of teens and people have been messing around with dangerous stuff, they don't realize that its dangerous to not only them but to the people around them. take a look at this picture

  2. That's so weird. It really shows what a dangerous place our own home can be. There's a lot of teenagers and little kids out there who experiment with unknown substances all the time. Maybe, it really was for a school project and he used something he wasn't supposed to. I don't think he should be arrested just yet for this because no one knows the logical thinking behind this experiment. I guess ever since 9/11 everyone has to be very aware of anyone who seems like a threat, even if they're an American citizen.
    Look at this video I found about how security has changed since 9/11. I think this is why he was arrested.

  3. This is a very horrifying story. Pizzonia must've been thinking about hurting a group of individuals if he had pictures of people involved in another crime scene. In a video, a girl described him as a loner. Not to sound stereotypical, but I've noticed that alot of quiet people/"outcasts" seem to plan revenge in a certain way. I don't want to be too quick to judge, but who would show off a pipe bomb for a school science project?
